What is a Frozen Shoulder?
Frozen shoulder is the popular term for a very painful medical condition called adhesive capsulitis. If you notice shoulder discomfort or pain even at the slightest movement, you might suffer from a frozen shoulder. Do not worry, we can help you get rid of the pain in no time! This condition affects both men and women, generally over the age of 40, and it can start from several reasons, such as injuries, heart attacks, shoulder joint arthritis or lack of use. In a typical case of frozen shoulder, you’ll most likely present inflammation of the shoulder joint capsule. We noticed that for the majority of patients reporting this condition there are three stages – Freezing, Frozen and Thawing – which we will detail next.
